Lovely location, close to one of the best beaches. everything was spotless
-
great 4-star experience. excellent location, easy to get around. also, we were 3 km from our favourite spot blue reef aquarium.
-
We really enjoyed views and atmosphere, the venue organised everything for us. The bar is great. A mini fridge bar, ironing facilities and blinds in our double room were realy useful during our stay. The owner upon arrival was lovely. The best place to visit when in Newquay.
-
Good location, close to bus stops, ample parking
-
friendly owners with good service, food with ample parking
-
Good location nice breakfast room
Poor value for money nearly 800 for a week in a small room which was not in anyway luxurious was too expensive. Four star aa rating seemed very optimistic.
-
Friendly staff, scrumptious breakfast and excellent location.
More like a b and b than a hotel. Breakfast only served between 9:30 and 10:30, including the weekend! Walls paper-thin...could hear snoring from someone in the next bedroom! Very early check out - 10:30.

It was very cosy , nice location , beautiful veiws from the front, ideal for getting around ., staff very friendly ,clean and tidy , would recommend anyone for a few days break to stay here , I have lived in newquay for 4 years , in the past , it is very quiet and peaceful hotel ,away from the centre of the town and would stay there again ,no problem ,well done to the hotel xxxx
-
The staff were very friendly nothing was too much trouble , the location was amazing we could have breakfast and watch the surf rolling in .the comfort and cleanliness was exceptional would go back again
-
A very warm welcome on arrival, we stayed in room 11 with a balcony with stuning veiws of the sea and Newquay, breakfast was very good, would stay again.
-
The location and staff were excellent. the hearty breakfast was freshly cooked and set us up for the day. Sue and PAul were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. we would stay again and recommend the Windward. Though it didn't matter to us, guests should be aware that there are no restuarant facilities for evening dining.
-
Very relaxed and laid-back: staff very friendly.
-
b'fast yummy and staff friendly; aware of environs directing to sight seeing and lovely restaurants
-
We were made most welcome by the hosts, and would not hesitate to recomend to our friends, fantastic sea view's from our room, breakfast set us up for the day,and the honours bar what a great idea.Room was clean @ tastefully decorated,we had a great 5 days in cornwall.
One complaint and it is personal the bed was very hard.
-
Breakfast, Friendliness, Shower and bathroom soaps shower gel etc. Mattress. Excellant window sound proofing to keep out traffic noise.
Apart from the bed mattress the actual bed. Lack of bedroom air conditioning. The ceiling fan gave out a noise and as it had to be on all night ( Very warm) it was inadequate. I am sorry but I would not recommend the Windward despite its good points I felt that it did not live up to the four star rating.
